Fact-Checking Policy

a) Commitment to Accuracy: Khabrilall.in is dedicated to ensuring that all content published is accurate. We take rigorous steps to verify claims, question assumptions, and challenge conventional wisdom.

b) Due Accuracy: We are committed to maintaining due accuracy in all our outputs, which is crucial for our reputation and the trust of our audience. “Due” accuracy means the information is appropriate and adequate for the content, considering the subject and nature, and we clearly mention any constraints affecting this expectation.

c) Evidence-Based Reporting: Our content must be well-sourced, based on available evidence, and corroborated. We aim to be transparent about what we don’t know and avoid unsupported speculation.

d) Integrity in Journalism: Our journalists are committed to not plagiarizing or deliberately distorting facts or context, including visual information.

e) Verification of Information: We seek independent verification from sources to confirm claims, especially those made by public officials or those with agendas beyond simply reporting the truth. Claims and significant facts that cannot be corroborated are generally attributed.

f) Correcting Errors: Khabrilall.in stands by the accuracy of its published information. If errors are identified, we correct them as quickly as possible. We do not intentionally mislead our audience or distort facts. We acknowledge and rectify serious factual errors promptly and appropriately.

g) Public Reporting of Inaccuracies: We provide a “Suggest A Correction” section at the end of each web story, allowing the public to report any inaccuracies or errors.

h) Editorial Review: Our journalists are responsible for reporting, writing, and fact-checking stories, which are then reviewed by one or more editors. Khabrilall.in has a multi-level fact-checking process for stories that require thorough review. The seniority of the editors reviewing a story depends on its complexity, sensitivity, and time constraints.
